Blue Christmas

I didn't take many pictures this Christmas, but of the ones I did take, I think I like this one best.

Close-up of a Christmas ornament hanging on our tree, reflecting me with camera

You liked an image for image thiefs the best?

That's not what I'm seeing here. ....

Now I see the ornament. And that is a cool photo. :-D

Just for the record, anyone who views this site as an RSS feed through LiveJournal or a few other sites is going to see my image thief image. There are people on LiveJournal, Xanga, mySpace, and a few other online journal sites that hotlink to images here. To prevent them from doing that, I've got a mod_rewrite directive that redirects requests with a referrer from those sites to a rather rude image. This is an unfortunate side effect of that. To see the actual images, you need to click through to this site, then force-refresh your browser by holding down the shift key and refreshing so that your browser grabs the actual image.

Or you could just decide that it's not worth it and damn me to hell.

Yeah, not a problem. I will know that for the future and not harass you about it (or at least I'll try to remember).

And it's not likely that *I* would damn you to hell. Not my cosmology. ;)

I can see a person's reflection in the ornament.. otherwise it's very pretty.

What do you mean there is no cat?

"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."

- Albert Einstein, explaining radio
