Tall Dwarfs are coming!

Tall Dwarfs are coming to America for the first time in 13 years! Last time they came, I missed them because I didn't get tickets in time and their show at Maxwell's in Hoboken sold out. Not going to make that mistake this time. Not even for a show in the city on a school night. (Fortunately, their second show in New York is the day before a day I was going to take vacation for already anyway....)

I've seen erstwhile Dwarf Chris Knox on a number of occasions, and he puts on a hell of a show. This is going to be fun....

I'm there. You gotta lend me some music though, cuz I only have one tape with like two or three of their songs buried in my storage facility.

Isn't a tall drawf like an oxymoron or something? Like, is that at all possible?

(1) OM, what does "erstwhile" mean? I know I could look it up, but you're my academy...

(2) Lilbro, the BEST Tall Dwarfs song, and one of the best songs in the universe, is "Crush". Do you know that one? I can't say that I have based my opinion on knowing all the Tall Dwarfs songs, but that song is so good, there is no way there could be a better one. I don't have to listen to them all to know.

AWESOME! Love the internet. I just did a google search on "Turning Brown" & "Flying Nun" to see who did the song (I was thinking there was a Kilgour involved) and I found out that they are on tour and will be coming to Athens! Bless you, sir/madam.

Also, the first impression of your website looks good! I'll zip around.

aw, man, they're coming nowhere near columbus at any time i'd be able to go...rats!

and speaking of "best" tall dwarfs songs, picking a single one would be impossible, but if there was a gun to my head, i'd go for "nothing's going to happen." or "burning blue." or or or...

What do you mean there is no cat?

"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."

- Albert Einstein, explaining radio
